This was the last place we ate out at on our 2 week trip and it was perfect. The lobster/crab ravioli was delicious and the fun shapes of the ravioli made it even more fun. Great views and lovely atmosphere. The owners and staff were also very lovely and welcoming.

Had dinner at Taverna Azzurra and the view of the water along with the vibes in Sorrento were spectacular. The seating on the road was very enjoyable. I ordered the Spaghetti alla Napoletana and it was good. The calamari appetizer for the middle was very well-cooked, quite tasty (as was the shrimp). Very nice restaurant in Sorrento!

I’m not sure why someone would give this place a 1-star review. I guess maybe they just don’t rate great food, lovely staff and an amazing location? This was an our last night out in Sorrento before we fly back to Australia, and we decided to just cruise past and check the menus at the restaurants at Marina Grande. Taverna Azzura ticked the boxes we were hoping for (anchovies, sardines, baby squid) and had some other amazing specials (mahi mahi, crab ravioli). Then there were the desserts. Oh my god - works of art! The staff were lovely and there was never any sense of being pressured to add a tip (which I did, because we really appreciated their effort). Prices are a little higher than you can find elsewhere, but it’s Marina Grande, so what do you expect? Ignore the flogs who thinks they’re Michelin star chefs and decide to give this restaurant bad reviews. Get along, enjoy a litre of the house white (which was really quite good), take the advice of the staff and enjoy your night.

Taverna Azzurra was such a wonderful find! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere right on the water is absolutely perfect. Prices are very reasonable, food was delicious, and the spritzes hit the spot. We loved how the team remembered us each time we passed by, but never pressured us to stop—just genuine, friendly hospitality. A true gem in Marina Grande and one of our favorite meals in Sorrento!

Incredible food, wine and service! I love the outdoor seating by the water. This is my favorite spot in Sorrento! The crab ravioli is amazing as well as the bruschetta. The service is seriously amazing and the co-owner is a sweetheart! I recommend this place to all of my friends/family who visit!

I have no idea why this is only 3.8? This was 5* for me and my partner. Food was excellent, especially the crab ravioli! Drinks arrived in seconds and service was good! Would 100% go back. Nice touches such as branded wine glasses and bread bags! Staff were friendly and pleasant.

Great location right by the sea — absolutely perfect in January. The atmosphere is calm and authentic. The tuna pasta and fried anchovies were amazing, truly delicious. Homemade wine was also very good. Highly recommended!

Excellent seafood (it's a seafood restaurant in a harbour so that's what they do well!) with a lovely view across the water. Quick service though the waiter was not the most cheerful. Great local wine too. Oh yes, the gelato was great :-)
